Teaching has played a central role in Didi's life over the last ten years. She has taught hundreds of children, teens and adults. She enjoys teaching because it allows her to share her craft in a relaxed environment. She specializes in veg-centric eating, not making meat, fowl or fish center stage. Didi has been known to convert even the most staunch teenage vegetable dissenter to a veggie lover. Learning correct knife skills is essential to her teaching. She knows that solid knife skills are the gateway to a lifetime of cooking. Her goal is enable students to make at least one vegetable a part of their daily diet. To that end, Didi seeks to understand roadblocks that her students face to a better diet. She teaches students how to become aware of their own food prejudices.
